    • Addon Domain: Use this option if you want to add a completely new domain that will have its own separate website.
    • Subdomain: Use this option if you want to add a domain that is a subset of your existing domain (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com).

  2. Log in to your domain registrar's dashboard and update the nameservers to those provided by your hosting provider.
  3. It can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate.

Step 5: Verify the Domain is Working

  1. After adding the domain, you can verify that it’s working by typing the domain name in your browser.
  2. If everything is set up correctly, you should see the default page for your new domain or the content of your subdomain/parked domain.

Step 6: Manage the Domain (Optional)

  1. Once added, you can manage the domain under the "Domains" section in cPanel.
  2. Here, you can create email accounts, set up redirects, and manage DNS settings for the domain.

By following these steps, you can successfully add and configure a domain in cPanel.
